What is a Defibrillator?

A defibrillator is used to treat life threatening conditions that affect the rhythm of the heart. The process involves administering an electric shock to the heart which helps re-establish the natural beat and rhythm of the heart.

To use this defibrillator all you to do is open the lid, attach the pre-connected electrodes to the patient to the positions clearly marked on the pads, and let the Lifepak begin analysing the patient. 

The Lifepak CR Plus Automatic AED and the Powerheart G5 utilises the same high quality technology used by emergency medical professionals but is also designed to be easily to use by a first responder who may be the first person available to help with a sudden cardiac arrest.

• The machine will only offer a shock only if the heart requires it. This amazing defibrilator will alter the shock strength dependant on a previous shocks outcome
• Includes Voice technology – Follow the calming voice prompts that will help you deliver a life-saving shock to the patient.
• The Lifepak CR Plus and the Powerheart G5 can administer shocks up to 360 joules. This is the highest shock level available on the market. More important the defibrillater will only deliver shock treatment if it’s appropriate for the patient
